Lieutenant Colonel Kevin P. StoddardDeputy Director for Supplier Operations Clothing and TextilesLieutenant Colonel Kevin P. Stoddard is the Deputy Director for Supplier Operations, Clothing and Textiles. As the Deputy Director, he provides direction, oversight, and management to five product line divisions supporting the Department of Defense and the Five Service’s current and future Individual Clothing and Equipment requirements. LTC Stoddard received a Regular Army Commission in 1988 and holds a Master of Business and Science Degree in Acquisition and Procurement and a Masters in International Strategic Studies. He is a graduate of the United States Army Command and General Staff College, Fort Leavenworth Kansas, and the United States Army War College, Carlisle Pennsylvania. He is certified in Program Management, and System Research, Planning and Engineering, and Weapon System Operational Test. LTC Stoddard has served in multiple acquisition and operational assignments. He most recently served as the Product Manger for Crew Served Weapons, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. He was selected as PEO Soldier’s Product Manager of the Year in both 2005 and 2006. Other recent assignments included the Special Armament and Technology Manager for USSOCOM and the Deputy Commander for the Army’s Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center, Picatinny Arsenal. In 1997, he reported to the Program Executive Office for Tactical Missiles, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. While assigned to Redstone, he was the Assistant Project Manager Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) Project Office, Executive Officer for the Program Executive Office for Tactical Missiles, and Assistant Product Manager for Close Combat Anti-Armor Weapon Systems (CCAWS) Project Office. From 1993-1995, he commanded the 501st Military Police (Divisional), 1st Armor Division. After Command, he served as the S4, 793rd Military Police Battalion with initial U.S. Forces in Bosnia. In 1989, he was assigned to the 1st Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, NC, where he served as an Airborne Company Executive Officer, Anti-armor Platoon Leader, and Airborne Rifle Platoon Leader. LTC Stoddard’s combat experience and service includes Operation JUST CAUSE, Panama, DESERT SHIELD and STORM, Operation ENDURING FREEDOM, Bosnia, and OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM, Iraq. LTC Stoddard’s has earned the Combat Infantryman’s Badge, Expert Infantryman’s Badge, Senior Jump Master’s Parachutist Badge with Bonze Combat Star, Meritorious Service Medals (4th Oak Leaf Cluster), The Army Commendation Medal (2nd Oak Leaf Cluster), Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (2nd Award), Humanitarian Service Medal, and the NATO Service Medal. |
