Mr. Mauretti began his career in the textile industry in 1965, having just received his bachelor degree from UMass Dartmouth. He worked as Industrial Engineer: Cost/Waste Control at Quaker Fabrics, Market Research Specialist at Leesona Corp., Account Manager: Industrial Chemicals at Jordan Chemical Co., and was president of Bacon Felt Company. Mr. Mauretti is founder and present CEO of EY Technologies, a specialty materials company located in the Fall River Industrial Park. He has international experience in the development, marketing and manufacturing of technical fiber based materials and yarns used for industrial products and composites. He is a business and community volunteer in education, economic and workforce development. Currently Chairman of the UMASS Dartmouth Foundation, vice-chair of the UMASS Advanced Technology and Manufacturing Center- Outside Advisory Board and also Chair of the Bristol Workforce Investment Board (WIB). In 2005, Mr. Mauretti was named the world president of the Textile Institute, a United Kingdom-based professional organization for the worldwide textile industry. Mr. Mauretti has been an NTA Director since 1999. |
