Michael Lempriere

Michael Lempriere, chairman of the Australian wool trading company Lempriere Pty Ltd, Melbourne and immediate past president of the International Wool Textile Organisation died October 1, 2008 following a in a serious car accident in New Zealand last weekend.

With the tragic death of Michael Lempriere, the international wool industry has sadly lost one of its most respected figures.

Our deepest thoughts and deep felt sympathy go out to his wife Diana, who was also injured in the accident, as well as to his sons William and Ben.
