Maurice Larrivee

US Army Soldier & Biological Chemical Command

Mr. Maurice Larrivee is a Physical Scientist working for the Natick Soldier Systems Center. His work background is in textile materials development with disciplines in both chemistry and textiles. Work experience at Soldier Systems Center spans over a period of 37 years. He is currently the Materials Technology Leader for Protective Materials in the Individual Protection Directorates and has responsibility for 5 materials development teams. They include Ballistics, Chemical Warfare Agent Protection, Detection Avoidance, Fiber Development, Multifunctional Materials and Advanced Material.

He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts – Dartmouth with a degree in Textile Technology and did graduate work in Polymer Chemistry at the University of Massachusetts – Lowell. Mr. Larrivee is a long time member of AATCC.
