Harry Jenkins

(1943(?) - 2005)

Harry Jenkins was a long time member of the flock industry and was instrumental in establishing Owen Manufacturing as an important flock coater in the United States. He served as a member of the AFA Executive Committee from October 25, 2003 until his untimely death May 24, 2005. His forthright and knowledgeable voice will be sorely missed.

According the obituary in the Asheville (N.C.) Citizen-Times of May 26th, Mr. Jenkins was 62 at the time of his death as a resident of Arden, N.C. The funeral service and burial were to be in his homeland of Abergavenny, Gwent Wales.

On November 9, 2005 the American Flock Association donated $500 to the Dick Bourdon Flock Fund in memory of Harry Jenkins.
