Patty AdairPatty Adair joined the staff of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) as a Textile Technologist in May. Prior to CPSC, Patty worked at American Textile Manufacturers Institute (ATMI). At ATMI she was involved with national and international standard-setting and regulatory activities, including work with textile product committees made up of upholstery fabric manufacturers and bed and bath product manufacturers. Before joining ATMI, she worked on a variety of regulatory issues, including textile flammability, in the Washington office including the National Cotton Council.Patty holds a BS in Clothing, Textiles and Related Arts from Virginia Tech and a MS in Textile Engineering from Philadelphia University. Patty served as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in Botswana. |
