Produces bath accessories, bath rugs, bath towels, beach towels, bedskirts, bedspreads, comforters and duvet covers, decorative throw pillows, drapes and valances, quilts, scatter rugs, sheets and pillowcases, shower curtains, table covers, bed pillows, flocked blankets, mattress pads, natural fill pillows, comforters and featherbeds and woven blankets and throws.

WestPoint was purchased by American Real Estate Holding Ltd. in June 2005 after filing Chapter 11 in New York bankruptcy court in June 2003. On May 29, 2007, WestPoint Home announced the closing of domestic bedding production facilities in Alabama, Georgia, and Florida, putting about 1,000 people out of work. In addition to the plant closings, about 40 positions were eliminated the corporate office and outside sales offices. After the closures the company will emply more than 4,000 people domestically.

WestPoint has been an NTA Member since June 30, 2004, and is active in the NTA Textile Bedding Committee. The company was also from January 8, 1999 to December 6, 2000, a member of NTA's American Flock Association in connection with the company's flocked blanket operation.
