In 1990 Troy Mills, Inc., Troy, New Hampshire, observed the 125th anniversary of its founding in 1865. The mill was originally named Troy Blanket Mills and was known for its manufactur of unique horse blankets. In 1960 the company's name was changed to Troy Mills.

Troy Blanket Mills joined NTA January 24, 1955, and was active in active in NTA's Wool Manufacturers Council.
