The NTA Personnel Policy Committee met
on March 22, 2000 in Webster, MA. In
attendance were: Mike Schwotzer, Ami Esquivel and Kevin McMaster, BF
Goodrich Performance Materials; Herb Gray and Mike Shaw, Cranston Print
Works Company; Laura Cournoyer and Bill Noble, Intermark Fabric Corp.; Dan
Brown, L. W. Packard & Co., Inc.; Patricia Jearman, Spectro Coating
Corp.; David
Trumbull and Nan Kern, Northern Textile Association
The committee enjoyed a very comprehensive tour of
Cranston Print Works’ facility, given by Len Rudolph.
After the tour, Ann O’Hara, an employee benefits
expert from Willis, joined the group
for a catered lunch, courtesy of Cranston Print Works.
After lunch, Ms. O’Hara presented information on
updated COBRA regulations. If you would

David Trumbull, NTA, spoke on the latest
developments on NAFTA, WTO, CBI and the Sub-Saharan Africa trade bills.
The committee decided that the next meeting of the
Personnel Policy Committee would be June 28 at the Best Western Hotel in
Wakefield, MA. [Please see attached
sheet.] NTA will get two speakers who
will look at the topic “Fair Labor Standards” from different points of view.
