Long active with the Knitted Textile Association (KTA),
Fabrictex, Inc. joined NTA with the August 7, 2002 merger with KTA.
Company chairman and CEO, Edward Moskowitz had served on the KTA Merger
Committee and was, September 23, 2002,
elected a Director of NTA for three-year term expiring in 2005, he vacated that position when the
company went out of business June 21, 2005. When, on October 29, 2002 the NTA Membership Committee
and NTA Promotions Committee were formed, Mr. Moskowitz agreed to serve on both,
and was chairman of those two committees until April 2006, when he
left the fabric producing sector of the textile industry.
Following the closing of Fabrictex, Inc., Mr. Moskowitz was associated with the knit
fabric producer Ge-Ray until that company's demise in April 2006. Since then
he and wife Harriet have operated a textile consulting firm Design Techniques LLP.
