Today Cellusuede is a full service flocking manufacturer, producing several million pounds of flock annually, with a product line including rayom, nylon, polyester, and other synthetic fibers. In 1997 Cellusuede Products became a QS-9000/ISO-9002 registered company, the first flock manufacturer in the world so to do. Microfibres was founded in 1926 by Norman E. McCulloch, Sr., as the Rayon Processing Company of Rhode Island. The company has been a member of NTA's American Flock Association since 1985 or 1986. |
