American Drawtech was formed in 1992 as a Joint Venture between the principals of United Yarn (Martin Rosen) and Titan Textiles (Steve Wener).

ADT manufactures fully drawn flat polyester in ranges from 70 to 600 denier. American Drawtech also distributes Nanya's fully drawn polyester, and sells type 6 fully drawn mono & multifilament nylon from various sources.
