Fabric Labelling Code of Practice

The International Wool Textile Organisation is the promulgator of the Fabric Labelling Code of Practice which governs the use the "S" and "Super S" designations for fine wool and wool blend fabrics.

U.S. Regulations

Since 2007 the Wool Suit Fabric Labeling Fairness and International Standards Conformiong Act has incorporated the ITWO Code into the Wool Products Labeling Act (WPLA) of the United States. Violation of the WPLA may carry a substantial penalty.
